Default Thumper In Pve

would this be a viable build for general PvE play:

[never rampage alone][devastating hammer][crushing blow][fierce blow][whirlwind attack][lightning reflexes][scavenger strike][charm animal]

also for pvp, would [rampage as one] be any good with this?

thanx in advance.

There's a standard bar for this for PvP somewhere. Try Search or pvxwiki.com.

As for PvE, i'd prefer [Earth Shaker]. Also, [Dwarven Stability] + [Lightning Reflexes] =

For PvE, NRA is pref. over RaO in my book. This allows you to fill your elite with warrior skills like [[earth shaker].

I toyed with something like:

[earth shaker][crude swing][whirlwind attack][never rampage alone][for great justice][i am the strongest][comfort animal][charm animal]

It worked alright.

I am a big fan of [great dwarf weapon] in my thumper builds ... can be an energy burden but there are ways around that.

Here is an old thread of mine you might wanna take a look at as well:
Alternative PvE Thumper

Earth Shaker sure is also a great alternative.
I wouldn't run [[never rampage alone] and [[lightning reflexes]. If you wanna abuse [[lightning reflexes] bring [[dwarven stability] and get rid of the pet, just bring a big hammer.

Have fun!

PvE Pet Builds FTW

Well, I ran a Ranger ES in a DoA Physical based party quite successfully.

[earth shaker][crushing blow][whirlwind attack][crude swing][lightning reflexes][dwarven stability][no skill][no skill]

For PVP the build you want is called the Bunny Thumper on pvxwiki.

I think its 11+1+1 Beast, 10+1 exp, 11 Hammer Mastery

[Hammer Bash][Crushing Blow][Bestial Mauling][Optional][Rampage As One][Charm Animal][Comfort Animal][Res Sig]

[build=OgEjIxXolSRFPF4G8gXFri0GbGA]

Cleave, Whirling Axe and Triple Chop would all work for the elite.

Imo, drop For Great Justice for Whirlwind attack in ur bar. You dont need the adrenaline spammability, and the AoE could end up providing more adrenaline (since if theres 4 or 5 enemies, you basically instantly charged dismember/cleave.

I thought about that, just depends on the situation if Whirlwind Attack will actually hit enough stuff. Cyclone Axe is another possibility since you get good energy management from Scavenger Strike (skill description is out of date).

[Great Dwarf Weapon] on your pet at max Dwarf rank is VERY solid. It will tax your energy at times though.

I use Richardt's build sometimes but drop FGJ in favor of the GDW. [Ferocious Strike] can be used as the elite to counter the energy maintance issues. You loose the AoE KD from Earth Shaker, but you gain the Pet KD and added damage so it's fairly equal.

For Luminarus' build for PvP add Distracting Strike or Distracting Blow in the empty slot.
